FAQs – Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I submit the registration form?

After you have filled out and submitted the registration form, I will call you to add you to my database.

When will I participate in my first study?

Study participants are selected according to the specifications of each client – for example by age, gender, marital status, or profession. A first participation is often possible within a few weeks, though in individual cases it may take a little longer. You will hear from me.

What happens to my data?

Data protection is my top priority. I only collect data that is necessary for matching you with suitable studies. Results are passed on to clients in anonymised form only – without any personal details such as your name or address.

Your personal data will not be disclosed, transferred, sold, or otherwise marketed to other companies or institutions. The only exception applies if I am legally or judicially obliged to do so.

Is participation in studies compensated?

Yes, your time will of course be compensated. The amount depends on the duration, effort, and topic of the study. Studies on everyday topics such as detergent or sweets are generally compensated at a lower rate than surveys on more complex or specialised subjects.

How will my compensation be paid?

For in-person interviews and focus groups, you will receive your compensation directly on site after the event. For online studies – such as online interviews, focus groups, workshops, or communities – compensation will be transferred within 5 to 7 working days.

What happens to the data collected during a study?

The evaluation of study data is strictly separated from your personal details. Clients receive a summary of results in the form of numbers, tables, and direct quotes from discussions. Your master data is included anonymously only and cannot be linked to any research findings. Your name, address, or employer will not appear anywhere in the results or presentations.

How do I respond to a study invitation by email?

Once a suitable study becomes available, you will receive an email from me. If you are interested, a brief reply is all that is needed, by email or phone. If you are not available or not interested, there is no need to respond.
